PEDIATRIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST - SENIOR CLINICAL STAFF

NESCA, p.c. (Neuropsychology & Education Services for Children & Adolescents) in Newton, MA has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, MA-licensed pediatric neuropsychologist to join the staff of our expanding private practice (www.nesca-newton.com).

 

Clear preference will be given to candidates immediately available full-time, but appropriately experienced clinicians interested in part-time work may also be considered.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform diagnostic evaluations and psychological assessments of, and academic progress reviews for children and adolescents ranging in age from 2 to 18 years, as well as to provide consultation to schools and allied professionals.

Qualifications:

 

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology;
  • MA Licensed Psychologist (out-of-state applicants must meet the MA Division of Professional Licensure requirements for licensure, with proof of application to the Board required);
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents with special needs in private practice or an institutional setting;
  • Training in administration of the ADOS and other tests specific to Autism Spectrum Disorders, and previous experience working with children with ASD, are desirable but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel abroad for up to three weeks desirable but not required.

Compensation:

 

Clinicians joining our full-time, permanent staff will earn competitive fees for evaluations and hourly rates for ancillary services, and be eligible for NESCA’s full benefits package, including subsidized health insurance, group rate for dental insurance, 401k plan participation and paid vacation.
